The sixth generation of the direct thermal printer Epson TM-T88, remains true to the series’ winning formula: it generates 80 or 58 mm wide receipts quickly, up to 350 mm/sec. at 180 dpi and accesses smart functions from the TM-Intelligent Series, such as Server Direct Print and ePOS (XML). Plus, it prints logos, graphics and images in greyscale. Coupons, vouchers and rebate promotions therefore become absolute eye-catchers.

The TM-T88VI is equipped with three interfaces, standard: USB-B, Ethernet and USB-A, and optionally with various UIB system interfaces, such as RS-232, parallel and Powered USB. A Bluetooth variant (also optional) offers a direct connection to a smartphone or tablet – perfect for mobile POS applications. Other features include an auto cutter, a print head which supports a print length of 200 km and simple »Drop-In« paper roll change. Also, the TM-T88VI is resistant to splash water, backward compatible with previous models, Energy Star-certified and has a convenient maintenance function to keep a close eye on the current status.
