A space-saving design, powerful equipment and incredibly simple integration – all the characteristics that are a perfect match to the versatile direct thermal label printers of the Epson TM-L90 Series. The series consists of the model variants TM-L90 and TM-L90LF and they both create thermal labels and receipts at a maximum print speed of up to 150 mm per second (TM-L90) or 170 mm per second (TM-L90LF) at a consistently high resolution of 8 dots/mm (203 dpi). At the same time, attractive grayscale printing ensures even better visual results and a professional, high-quality appearance. The difference is particularly noticeable when printing logos and graphics in post offices, pharmacies, supermarkets and other businesses.

For smooth operation and quick maintenance, the TM-L90 and TM-L90LF offer particularly easy paper handling via »Drop-In«. They also use paper rolls with a maximum diameter of up to 90 (TM-L90) or 102 mm (TM-L90LF) and process various media formats with a width of 38, 70 or 80 mm. Thanks to the integrated auto cutter, they are even suited for printing with continuous labels. The label printers are also optionally available with an integrated peeler function: a special mechanism automatically peels the label from the liner after printing. Thus, users save valuable time, especially in print-on-demand applications, and it eliminates the need to manually peel labels from the backing roll.

Epson has also equipped the printers with various sensors that make it easier for users to monitor the current printer status. One of the sensors is responsible for approaching paper end and reacts as soon as only a certain amount of paper is left in the feed tray. Another sensor for the actual end of paper signals as soon as all the paper has been used up and there is nothing more to print on. A third sensor activates when the printer cover is open and holds new print jobs until the cover is closed again – ideal for trouble-free maintenance or paper changes.
